Veteran Nollywood actor Don Brymo whose real name is Mr Brymo Uchegbu has passed on at the age of 56.
He reportedly died in his sleep on Wednesday night.
Don Brymo prominently played the role of an Igwe (traditional ruler) in movies.
A movie director, Mayor Ofoegbu, confirmed the demise in a post shared on his Facebook page on Thursday.
“Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
“I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday evening. My man, my 5 & 6, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed in his sleep.
“I received the shocking news this morning and had to verify from his family. Chai! Don Brymo my manchi. It’s had to say goodbye. Nnukwu nwa na Enugu ukwu,” he posted.
Don Brymo was born in 1966 in Anambra State, where he hails from.
He had his primary and secondary education in the state.
His acting career began after his secondary education but he officially joined the Nollywood industry in 2000.
Don Brymo was also a seasoned singer.
He acted in lots of movies and recently released a song ‘Mio ni gba’.
He starred in No Money, The Fish Girl, Land of Fire, The Gods Will Fight For Us, Oga Landlord among others.
