Pastor Yinka died after contracting the novel Coronavirus. it was reported that Pastor Akinbami died on Friday, January 8.
Senior Pastor of the church, Paul Adefarasin, announced his passing on social media and paid glowing tribute to the late clergyman who he described as a good man.

Till his passing, Pastor Akinbami was one of the senior presbyters of our church and has been with us for over 25-years, serving in the Family Life Directorate, coaching many exemplary men and women as they embarked upon the journey of building families.
