Report coming in has it that a former Minister of Women Affairs during the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, better known as ‘Mama Taraba’ is dead.
Although, details of her death is still sketchy, but it is revealed that she died in a Cairo hospital, Egypt.
Jummai contested the Taraba 2015 governorship elections under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress, APC and but lost to the incumbent governor, Darius Ishaku who ran under the platform of the PDP.
However, shortly after her lose, President Buhari named her minister of women affairs.
