Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima has lost his stepmom to the cold hands of death.
This is according to the statement by the Senior Special Assistance on Media and Communication to Vice President Kashim Shettima, Stanley Nkwocha, Mrs Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi died in the early hours of Thursday.
Nkwocha said Hajja Kormi died after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, left behind five children, many stepchildren and grandchildren.
She was however buried at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her to Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement read.
