Founder of Christ Embassy, pastor Chris Oyaklilome has openly suspended his nephew, Woghiren Oyaklilome from his position.
Oyakhilome during a global and praise night of the church, on Sunday, announced the suspension of his nephew, saying he would undergo spiritual rehabilitation.
Some media reports had linked Woghiren’s suspension with his alleged relationship with the All Progressive Congress (APC). candidate, Bola Tinubu and also.
It was also reported that the APC campaign flier with the picture of Woghiren that surfaced online seemed to confirm the report as it suggests his appointment as the Global Youth Ambassador for the Bola Tinubu Support Organization (BTSO), a support group for Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
The preacher first quoted Proverbs 19: 18, saying, “Chasten thy son while there is hope and let not thy soul spare for his crying.”
“So, if he’s crying, it says don’t change your mind. Take actions so you don’t destroy him,” Oyakhilome said.
“Don’t say that because some people are doing it, then you start doing it too and misbehaving,” he added.
Announcing Woghiren’s suspension, he said, “For the LoveWorld Innovations which are part of our youth organisations, the one who has been the President of LoveWorld Next and LoveWorld Innovations, this man Oyakhilome Woghiren, is hereby removed from being president of LoveWorld Next and LoveWorld Innovations and also suspended from all official roles for acts of gross misconduct.
“So he no longer handles any of that and I’m putting him under spiritual rehabilitation. He has to go through spiritual rehabilitation from now, with immediate effect. Such misconduct is unacceptable.”
However, the video has caused mixed reaction from social media users.
