A two-storey building under construction in 2.2 in Kubwa, Bwari local government area of Abuja collapsed in the late hours of Thursday.
The collapsed building is on Hamza Abdullahi Street, off Gado Nasco Road.
It was gathered that six people have been rescued while at least two people were trapped.
The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. when the building suffered a total collapse, leaving some its occupants, who were workers at the site, injured.
One of the survivors said that the security officer at the site, popularly called Baba, was still in the building with a boy suspected to be his son.
“Baba and Bolaji are still inside.
“The material used in the building is not strong at all,” he said.
