Following the arrest of popular socialite, Obi Cubana, son of Director-general of the Department of state service, DSS Abba Bichi, has comdernmed the arrest by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC)
Celebritywatch had earlier reported that Obi Cubana was arrested by the nation’s anti-graft agency, EFCC on Monday evening for money laundering and tax invasion.
However, reacting to the issue Abba Bichi on his verified Instagram page, faulted the arrest.
He went further to showing his support for Cubana by posting his picture with a caption, “A man of honour and dignity.”
When another commentator replied for that his arrest was based on a mere allegation, Abba reacted that EFCC officials were doing the bidding of the politicians.
“They are politicians’ puppets; that’s why. Imagine a sensible person will choose a politician over a hardworking man! That’s why Nigeria is messed up,” Abba Bichi wrote on his Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Abba has come under fire for describing Obi Cubana, as a “man of dignity”.
After posting a picture of Cubana and captioning it, “a man of honour and dignity,” he drew the anger of some Instagram users who bombarded him with criticisms.
