Nigeria may loses two of their own to the cold hands of death in Ghana if they are not able to appeal their sentence within 30days.
According to Ghanaweb, a popular Ghanaian news agency, two Nigerians have been sentence to death by handing in Ghana for Kidnapping and killing four Ghanian teenagers
The incident was said to have happened in 2019, but they were found guilty in 2021 and thereby sentence to death by hanging.
The Nigerians who are on the death ‘gate’ are Samuel Udoetuk Wills and Jonh Oji, they were convicted on Friday by a court by a seven-member jury at the Sakondi High court in Ghana.
Samuel and John were accused on eight counts of conspiracy to commit murder and murder of 18years old teenagers, Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Priscilla Koranchie and Ruth Abekah.
However, they pleaded not guilty to the crime and they have been given 30 days within which they can appeal the sentence.
