Dead bodies of a couple, Ufuoma Atidja and Matilda Aghotor, were found on Saturday morning, February 13, in their apartment in Amukpe, Sapele counci area of Delta state.
Their bodies were discovered after neighbours peeped through the window, with the man on the floor and the woman on the bed.
The lovers reportedly attended a party the previous night, came home late after the party and slept off, only to be found dead in the morning.
Ufuoma and Matilda were said to have returned to the country last year from an undisclosed overseas’ country, and had moved into the neighbourhood last December.
Some believed that their deaths might have been as a result of inhaling generator fumes since their generator was put on the previous night.
